I am completely delighted with the beautiful icon of the Holy Face of Our Lord which Ioan, byzartandmore's wonderfully gifted iconographer painted specifically for me, as a fresh creation of heart and hand and prayerfulness. Ioan and Andreas' spiritual and artistic giftedness is that their main work is adorning Romanian Orthodox Churches with stunning frescoes - for which they are in high demand. But they bring the same high skill and devotion to the smaller icons available through Etsy. They don't simply make copies - each icon is a fresh creation, flowing from prayer. They are delightful people, full of fun, and so easy to communicate with, so eager to create exactly the sacred art the buyer is seeking. And I promise that both the process of commissioning an icon, and the work received, will bring nothing but joy !
