Saint Mary of Egypt is a common addition to any prayer corner and I knew I always wanted to have a hand-painted icon of this great saint. I am thrilled to have received this beautiful rendition! The icon is not only beautifully crafted but also features a stunning patina that gives it an antique feel (a suggestion made by the icon painters themselves!). The rich purple of the Saints cloak paired with the serene facial expression (something I think the creators do very well looking at their body of work!) lends a certain depth to the icon. Like mentioned in my other review, customer service is just excellent! Thank you Andreea and Petru for creating such a beautiful and meaningful piece of art! 💜
